In market research, a panel consists of a constant group of people or households, who are questioned regularly and repeatedly about one and the same topic using the same research tool.

Panel research is used to identify changes in attitudes and behaviors over relatively short time frames.

Retail panel

The retail research by GfK Switzerland focuses on the continuous and systematic observation of commodity flows in the markets for durable consumer goods and services. These stock flows are recorded in all the retail industry’s relevant sales channels and distribution schemes.

TV research panel
