GfK specialist lectures:
Motivation for public sector work

What is it that makes employees choose to work in the public sector and apply themselves with a high level of commitment, and what ensures that they have positive experiences with their employer?

Focusing on these topics, 40 representatives from the public sector participated in the following specialist lectures at the Park Hyatt in Zurich on November 17, 2010:

  • Liselotte Schmid showed how employee feedback can be used to improve the performance of an organization.
  • Prof. Dr. Adrian Ritz highlighted the latest findings from public service motivation research.
  • Beat Zimmermann presented factors for success and stumbling blocks in the implementation of employee survey findings, on the basis of a practical example.

"GfK Breakfast” series of events: Brand positioning

On June 8, 2010, the topic of "Brand positioning” and renowned speakers attracted more than 90 decision-makers from Switzerland’s business world to the Park Hyatt, Zurich.

Participants were offered an interesting program:

Successful participation in the VSMS Day of Swiss Market Research

On May 4, 2010, vsms (Association of Swiss Market and Social Researchers) held its seventh Day of Swiss Market Research at the Congress and Convention Centre in Lucerne, focusing on the topic "Market research: factors for success in the future”.

The conference offered all those interested in market research an opportunity to inform themselves about the latest trends in the industry and examples of best practice. Speakers included Frank Bodin, Advertiser of the Year 2009, who gave his perspective on the challenges faced by market research.

With a new, fresh visual design and the amazing GfK tool "real time feedback via SMS”, GfK Switzerland added a dash of orange to the (supposedly) gray market research world.

On March 24, in a series of events entitled "GfK Breakfast”, GfK Switzerland provided information on a range of topics including research of customer satisfaction in real time through mobile phones.
