Work-life balance: more than an expression
Only those who know one another will trust each other. For this reason GfK Switzerland encourages sporting and social activities among its employees outside of the office.
GfK Switzerland has had its own sports club for over 30 years. At the heart of this is fun, exercise, sporting challenges and last but not least team spirit, which transfers to positive teamwork. As well as football, badminton, hiking and bowling, the sports club also offers culinary and cultural delights such as theatre visits, musicals, cooking, wine tasting and "Klausabend”, celebrating St. Nicholas Day.
Events like GfK Switzerland’s ski day, the major employee party and the international GfK football tournament, which takes place alternately between Switzerland and Germany, are firm dates in the calendar which always enjoy great popularity. For long-serving staff and pensioners there is an additional separate program (e.g. "twenties club and pensioners club").
